Sifu Alex Jameson
Jeet Kune Do 2nd Gen InstructorMy name is Alex Jameson, I started training in 1967. I trained in boxing for 4 years and trained in judo which I received my 2nd Dan.
In 1969-1970, a guy called Gary Spires come over from new Zealand by invitation of Terry O'Neil. Gary opened one of the 1st schools on the Wirral - Wallasey, I trained with them for a total of 9 years, I received my Black Belt from Gary.
A guy come over from LA by invitation again, called Dan Inosanto. I trained with him every year down at Bob Breens school in London which I enjoyed and then was introduced to another guy called Larry Harrtsell. I trained with him for a total of 16 years. I was a 1st level instructor under him.
Then i got a invitation from Linda Lee (Bruce Lees Wife) to come along to the 1st Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Seminar in 1997. I went to every Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Seminar each year for the 5 years. The last one was in the Netherlands. I am also an instructor under Sifu Jerry Poteet. Most recently I train and attend seminars with Sifu Steve Golden who has been an inspiration since 1997.
I have had private seminar,s with Sifu Steve Golden, who has helped me in many many ways to understand Jeet Kune Do the way it was meant to be taught by Bruce Lee.
